Settings & privacy

GPS is optional until you start live navigation. Search and route requests go to the configured map providers. While you navigate, your position and remaining route are checked against Google live traffic every few minutes, and the app may switch to another responder route when that one is clearly faster. Trip speeds are used to learn how responders move through traffic. This device stores your location, voice, and distance-unit choices, typed recent searches, and up to three feedback categories for retry; provider coordinates are not saved. During navigation the app keeps a small record of the suggested route and the path you drove on this phone; after the trip it asks how the route was, and your answer, that route record, your name and the time are sent to the ResponseOne team only when you tap Send (or dismiss a trip where you left the route). A temporary active route is kept in this tab for recovery and cleared when you end navigation or after 30 minutes.

Responder routes are guidance only. They do not authorize restricted access or override local law or agency policy.

Your current route will close and its temporary recovery copy will be deleted.

Delete stored app data?

This removes ResponseOne choices, recent searches, local feedback, and the temporary route copy from this browser. It does not delete data already sent to map providers or change your browser’s location permission.
